A Midwinter Night’s Dream

Every year we have clients throw there back out, pull muscles or worst while shoveling snow.  Especially the heavy, wet variety we get in the Northeastern portion of the US.  Although shoveling looks simple there is a correct way to shovel and an incorrect way.  This video, produced by a physical trainer, is the correct way to remove snow.  Enjoy.

A Real High Net Worth Individual

Who is a High Net Worth individual?  Certainly, it means different things to different people, cultures and countries.  For our purposes, these individuals have homes worth $1,000,000 or more in replacement cost.  They have jewelry, fine arts or other expensive collectables that need to be covered through insurance.  They may have multiple homes.  They may be fortunate enough to have all the toys, planes, boats and automobiles.  Mostly, they have assets that need solid protection through insurance well orchestrated by an insurance professional. The Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents and its 1,500 member agencies are blasting a plan by Governor Deval Patrick to outsource Registry of Motor Vehicle functions, such as license renewal and registration, exclusively to AAA of Massachusetts. MAIA contends that Governor Patrick’s plan leaves Massachusetts residents with unequal access to public services and creates an uneven playing field within the Massachusetts auto insurance industry. As an alternative, MAIA has put forward its own proposal to ease the strain on overworked RMW offices across the state.
